Coming to the Black Cat in Washington, D.C. $15. I am SO FREAKIN' THERE!
My friend who proclaims that Wet Hot American Summer is one of her favorite all-time movies, asked "Who?" I was like ! That's like me asking who Adam Horovitz is. I mean, I understand if you kiiiinda like the movie, or have only seen it once or twice, but she's in LOVE with the movie! How doesn't she not know the two main characters? That boggles my mind.

Is Adam Horovitz the lead singer of The Beestie Boys?

Apparently he's Screech's brother.

I remember in my borderline obsessive beasties stage, my parents said no to seeing their show because I was 15 and "too young." Anyway this girl I knew in high school, my same age, went and was telling me about the show.
"oh yeah and you know, that one guy, what's his name, oh! A. D. Rock"
she said literally "A" "D" Rock.
I wanted to punch someone.
But the Black Cat, those two, good times. I got kicked out of there once.

Those fuckers aren't coming here. Showalter called it "nation-wide". My ass! He doesn't even go to Colorado, Seattle, anywhere near here

OH P.S. you should see Leo Allen, he came here with Showalter and Eugene Mirman. He's going to be in DC on Oct. 12 - here's his myspace http://www.myspace.com/leopoldallen

You ass face. I can't believe people who actually have this stuff happen near them and DON'T GO! It boggles my mind. I hear about amazing comedy going on every night in New York and a little piece of me dies every time I hear about it.
I just started listening to Eugene's album "engarde society!". It's awesome.

How'd you manage that?
