Egad!

It's already 40-something degrees outside and autumn isn't even here yet.

I REFUSE to turn on the heat. Absolutely refuse!

I will not have another $800 power bill. I'd rather let my nipples freeze and fall off!!

I never thought I was going to be able to take my top off in September but I did, earlier, whilst having a smoke and hanging out the laundry(y)

It's the first day of Autumn today, and it's 27c/80f here today. I'm sitting in just a pair of shorts:cool:

It's that awkward time of year in the valley, where morning are 52 degrees and afternoons are 80-90. So if I dress properly for warmth during the morning commute, I lose more than half my clothes and have to pack them back out in the afternoon.

Still, I love it. (y)

during the summer my roommate was all "I wanna put a bedroom in the non-accessible attic"

so he cut a whole through a wall and a ceiling, threw in a set of stairs and then stopped production there

our attic has two windows that have absolutely no glass hence the wind blows right the fuck through and now goes down the stairs and sweeps through the main part of the house and down into the hallway to the bedrooms

that plus our pilot light wont go on in our furnace, and during renovations the thermostat disappeared from the wall

all sorts of NOT FUCKING AWESOME

Holy smokes! That dude would be sleeping in front of the open window, if I had my way.

100 degrees farrenheit is your body temprature yeah, so is 0 degree meant to be anything special?

Nope. 0 degrees celcius is where the scale starts, the freezing point of water. And of course 100c is where water boils. Fahrenheit is garbage.

we use fahrenheit, so 0 would be really fucking cold (ice freezes at 32 degrees) and 100 would be ridiculously hot.

i already know that.

and i know freezing point is 32 fahrenheit, but is 0 anything on that scale? or it is just a retarded scale? i'm guessing retarded

That's exactly what it is, retarded. 0 degrees F is nothing, I was just pointing out the fact that celcius makes sense (not trying to patronize you with the numbers) and fahrenheit is pretty useless (i.e American).

any degree is too hot here if i walk out in the morning and it's muggy and makes my hair friz :(

it's finally starting to cool off here too, so maybe i can turn the a/c off soon.
