I like how Comedy Central has recently just started bleeping out the bad words by making it silent, as opposed to putting "fake" words over it. I think it's funnier that way.
However, I was watching TNT tonight and they have Kill Bill Vol. 1 on. I wondered how they'd do the hospital scene. They cut out a lot, and when she saw Buck's nametag she said "Your name is Buck, right? ...and you're here to *party*, right?" And I laughed pretty hard. She got his keychain and it said "Party Wagon," digitally redone. And she got to the car and it said "Party Wagon" on the back. Totally lame, but it amused me.

Why didn't they call it "Vagina Wagon"? It's not a bad word if you use it that way.

YOU CAN'T SAY VAGINA ON TELEVISION!
That's almost as bad as saying penis. I'm pretty sure TNT would edit it out to "hoo-hoo-dilly" and "wee-wee." Crazy assholes. Sorry, I meant crazy airheads.

I hear the Die Hard movies have some pretty funny edits in. I've never seen that myself though, movies don't get edited like that in my country.

Or they could've completely changed Buck's name to Cleetus..
"My name's Cleetus and I'm here to have coitus".. It still kinda rhymes.

Yeah, past 1 o'clock, everything is free to say. Still not okay for the Daily Show or Colbert. But on the weekend, it was 11 o'clock and I heard "shit" a few times...I think they've relaxed their rules a bit.

Because children can't hear the word "fuck" until at least age 13, and then maybe one of their friends will explain what it means and then you won't have to have that awkward conversation that you rely on the schools to teach.

yeah sometimes the censors just make something that wasn't funny, funny. Which ruins it really.
Then other times, it's meant to be funny then they censor it and the pay off isn't as good.
Oh well
bob - that thing was classic. (y)

i love how here on the comedy channel all the american shows have just about every word under the sun censored, just english and european shows like Eurotrash leave nothing to the imagination. they must buy the us shows already edited
