They were one of the longest-running repeat sketches SNL had. They were okay, I did really like the one with Adrock.

"What I'm trying to say is that I think I can get cheaper insurance if we get married. What do you say?"
"She hates your guts! Get outta here before I wrap this umbilical cord around your neck!"
"But I got a ring. It's imported all the way from Zirconia."
"Awww, it's adjustable!"

"Not the perfect freakin' cheer..."
"Yes the perfect freakin' cheer, bobby!"
"Who that is? my baby daddy. Who that is? my baby daddy. This is my baby Daddy."

If I was any of them I'd be tellin SNL that they'd better be payin me a whole shit load of money because not only am I loosing all dignity in front of the whole world, but Adam Horovitz.

^^haha those are all my favorite lines...

i think horovitz handled it well. i mean, that's not my favorite spartan sketch or anything, but i think he's good in it. i would've been screaming my head off with the rest of the audience when he came out. probably they were thinking "good, this sketch isn't gonna totally suck!" oh he's so cute, too :p (got it on tape and everything...the one i dropped right before putting it into the vcr, so it's kinda iffy...but still.)

but my favorite one is probably the one with tom hanks as the "spirit" or whoever he was. that one stands out in my mind. tom hanks was always an awesome host.

yeah....good stuff.

beastie boys need to host snl to make it worth watching...yes, hosts/musical
guests....that's the ticket (y) (50-foot wild man-eating sharks couldn't keep me away)

ahh i knew about the spartan cheerleaders but never saw a sketch..the adrock one was the first time i saw adrock & the first time i saw the spartan cheerleaders.....the first thing that went thru my mind was "DAMMMMNNNN, that guy in the red sweater is SEXY!"

then i saw the beastie boys perform & became a huge fan... (y)

Wait, that sketch came out when I was 15, which means that you must have been around 5-6. Unless you mean you saw a repeat. I'd hope that you weren't attracted to 30-year-olds at that young an age, at least. :p

truthfully speaking, when i first saw chris kattan on saturday night live...
i realized older guys are much more attractive :D

i forget how old...just a few years or so ago. but i had a crush on almost every guy ever on snl. really. o_O
