I just found out that my daughters pet died , he was lying down in his cage , already cold .....tommorow i have to tell her this hmm i hope she can understand it a bit.....

next trouble is that it's a degu and what i understand untill now is that they can't live alone they are family animals but to the other hand i understand that they have to be together from young otherwise they ten to kill each other....see the problem......:confused:

well i have one left ( over ) now ( 2 kids, 2 degu's ), should i buy a new one with the risk that they kill each other or one half dead attacking eachother untill 1 dies ???

I really have no id what is smart to do , 1 is already dead buy another and tommorow 2 dead ?????

maybe you can get her a pet rabbit, i think they get along pretty well with degu...
or another rodent (rat,gerbil,guinea pig...)

whatever you do, don't get a ferret, it'd kill your other degu..
