Wouldn't it be cool if they did a sequel and had everyone reprise their roles from the original -- except for Ralph Macchio sine he DIES at the end and whatever. (<----spoiler) But really, I think that Dallas/Matt Dillon should come back as a ghost. That's what really got me thinking about this in the first place.
But Tom Cruise alone would probably absorb the entire cast budget, even though his part in the original was so small. Either way, they'd have to cut a few corners here and there, I guess. C.Thomas Howell might need to double as best boy grip or something to keep the costs down.

are you talking about the book with Pony Boy and characters like that?

Not the book. The book was good. I meant the movie (http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000A0GODW.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg).

That would be pretty sweet.
I'm still waiting on that 16 candles sequel they keep talking about.

That wouldn't be as cool, though. That'd just be depressing, really.
The Outsiders, though -- they could show them all as like lawyers, doctors, investment bankers or company CEOs or whatever. It'd be crazy. I don't have an actual plot in mind...nor would I be able to explain why Matt Dillon/Dallas' ghost would have aged over the years...but it'd still be pretty sick ass.

rumblefish is a bagillion times better
there are too many gay reflective moments in the outsiders
I took an animal behavior class once and we had to write a paper on siamese fighting fish and I called them rumblefish during my presentation but I think only one person got the reference :(

Well, yes, Rumble Fish was technically a much better movie, but Mickey Rourke, Chris Penn and Dennis Hopper could never hold a candle to Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez and Rob lowe, man.

First Blood was based on a book by David Morrell. I don't believe that he wrote another two for Rambo and Rambo III to be adapted from. It can be done!
