Funny thing, I was gonna start a thread about whistling in songs after brodie mentioned Peter Bjorn And John's Young Folk's on the pop thread.

Other great tracks with whistling on is Kent's Dom andra, Teenage Fanclub's Mellow doubt and Otis Redding's (Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay.

red-eyed and blue always makes me so damned sentimental.

I can't breath out to whistle, I have to inhale.

I'll whislte once and a while but not if it will cause an annoyance.

My past two coworkers did nothing but whistle. The one who left whistled to his music. His jazz music and his whistle would tower over his music and it would bug the shit out of me. Why listen to music if you can't appreciate it?

Now I have a different coworker and for the past 4 months, he's been whistleing "moonbeams in a jar". When he gets up from his ass, he's whistling it. When he makes any kind of movement. Walking or anything, he's fucking whistling that damn song. You'd think he'd whistle someting else by now.

'Die Matrosen' by Liliput is hands down the best whistling song ever.

That and 'There It Go' by Juelz Santana.

Sittin on the dock of a bay - although legend has it that Otis Redding just recorded that as a guide for the last verse that he was gonna record at a later date, then he died.

Erm.. bad whislting - Roxette - Joyride.
