Well an official paul revere doesnt exist. Instrumental yes, acappella no. Same with get it together, there is some homemade versions of those floating around.

^^ Nah man. I HAD a copy of Paul Revere ACAPELLA. Not a home made EQ squeeze - a crystal clear studio edit acapella (I think...).

You can sit and tell me I never - I can honestly tell you I did. If I could remember exactly where it was I would say - although there's part of me that believes it was on a B-side of a UK release (although again - it could have been a german or japanese release).

I'll ask the guy I bought part of my beasties collection from as, if it did exist, it will have been on one of the 12's I bought from him.

I lost my Hey Ladies pella a while ago. I got it back now thanks to you silence7.
I just sent you a homemade pella of GET IT TOGETHER that I received a few months ago.

silence7, your pella site would be a nice place to include the Live pellas from the AIFST DVD.(lb)

Cool well I hope you find it. In all my days I have never heard of such an acapella version for that song.....
none listed on beastiemania either....

(that shame in your game acappella sounds horrid).... good example of a homemade one using knock out.

Thanks guys, If I had known it would be this much work I would probably still be lurking and building my own private collection to be passed down from generation to generation. :p

I think you got confused with something else my man. There was never a
release in any form of a Paul Revere a cappella on any piece of wax, not even Hurricane's concert acetates! The only studio version of it would be on a spool of 2" studio tape somewhere in the Universal Music Group archives.
They own all the rights to the content of that album now.

^^ I think you're right.

I've searched high and low and no-one has any idea what I'm talking about.

So, it is with great regret and enormous shame that I state that I was actually wrong.

One day the archives will open, and the pellas will flow freely.

Didn't the official BB website have an acapella download section at one time?
I have a good friend here in Seattle who produced Hurricane's -4 fly guys back in the day Dylan (Dynomite-D) from (The Slew) Kid Koala etc. and he said those guys were always very open to allowing unofficial remixes of their songs.
So it must be the label that is blocking new unreleased remix sources from
coming out now?

There's a ton of BB pellas out there already, why not just release them all? It's not liking anyone is going to profit from it, legally anyway.
There's been some excellent Beastie Boots put out over the years. Any true
Beastie Boys fan can appreciate them too.
I'm looking for those unreleased Check your head studio pellas that Max used on Doublecheck Your Head. He did a great job on that.

The pella page got taken down with the last site update, I think it was around the time the re-issues were coming out.

I've got all 32 pellas that were on here in one zip file here: http://beastiemixes.com/acappellas.php at the top of the page.
