I miss stealing food from my parent's house. :(

On the upside, I have a friend who has a Mormon family and a supply of food in her basement SO LARGE that it would feed her entire neighborhood for 3 months. I go shopping over there pretty often. And by shopping I mean bring over paper bags and stock up on ketchup and cake mix and stuff I normally wouldn't buy but really want. (y)

as all of our moms are of course, my mom is an incredible cook. she was the manicured 2x/wk stewardess type and couldnt fry an egg when she got marrried but has become a gourmet cook whose food people offer serious money to eat. she just will not make a business of it no matter how much we suggest it. she just loves to be able to give that to the family. so yeah, lasagna, apple crumb cake, canelones (spelling?), ravioli, stuffed turkey, million soups, everything pizza, milanesa, crepes, awwwwww moms give that food the love that is only waiting to be stolen by kids

If I had a mom like yours, I'd be so fat. I'd have made her cook me food all the time. (y)

Not to say I didn't have my mom make me some kick-ass sammiches and din-dins, but I'd definitely bother her a lot more to make me desserts and Italian dishes. Lasagna = drool.
