I wonder whycome nobody hasn't made a thread about this movie ever yet.
Because Heath Ledger is a homo.

Nah, he just plays one from time to time. This movie was superb.

are you making fun of me?
Yeah it was a pretty good movie. A lot better than I had expected it to be anyway. It holds up pretty well. Unlike Dungeons and Dragons. Hahaha.
10 Things I Hate About You was pretty bad though. That's the only reason I call him the poor man's Orlando Bloom.

Isn't Orlando Bloom sorta like his own poor man?
Lisa Schwarzbaum from Entertainment Weekly said:
This is history made smaller than life, Middle Ages pageantry interpreted for stadium spectators with limited attention spans from the age of Whasssup? ads and foam rubber fingers that scream 'We're Number One!'
See? She gets it!(y)

I haven't seen the movie. I don't even think it's the most entertaining of all of The Canterbury Tales. I think I might pick up the movie though because I fancy Rufus Sewell (http://imdb.com/gallery/ss/0183790/Ss/0183790/kt_CT5788.jpg?path=pgallery&path_key=Sewell,%20Rufus) as medieval crumpet. Oh and because all of you say it's good, of course.

You HAVE to see it to believe it, Clo!
There are several reasons why I think this movie rocks ass:
1) Paul Bettany really makes Chaucer his own.
2) The soundtrack, which features songs by groups such as Thin Lizzy, Queen, BTO and other bands from the era, really rocks ass. It allows the audience to really experience what it must have been like growing up in England in the '70s.
3) Shannyn Sossamon is quite hot.
4) It rocks ass.

you'd love the remake of Ned Kelly. Ledger AND Bloom together.
...seriously though, don't see that shit. Ledger makes Ned Kelly into some kind of retard.

I remember once going to a pre-screening of something and this one came on. I thought it must be a trailer for something new, but then it just continued.... I enjoyed the movie enormously (hadn't heard a word of it before hand) and since then had on/off crushes on Heath. It turned out I had gone to the wrong screening, I should'a been there two hours earlier, but no-one noticed. I think the free goody bag everybody got should've been a give-away, Filmfestival never does that...

^ You lucked out.
Shannyn Sossamon deserves to be my wife. Not to replace my existing wife, because I love her dearly, but just as sort of a side wife, or a back-up wife. She could be my contingency wife.

I just included "am I the only woman" in the first part of my question. So your response could have been an implication that you had a vagina ;)
