:(
When I used to weight train for basketball in high school, the leg press used to make me want to eat babies.
I tend to eat until I get dizzy and nauseous cuz I'm an American.

I just don't get what makes me dizzy and nauseous. I thought my body was supposed to feel great after exercise, with all the endorphins and shit. My throat hurts because my jugular vein is pounding and hurting. My head is throbbing and I'm lightheaded. And I felt sick to my stomach when I walked in the door.
What the hell. :(

Seems to me exercise is overrated. But one main reason for me wanting to get into shape is seeing movies like Indiana Jones and shit and being like "Holy crap if I'm ever chased by a Nazi I want to be able to run away and climb a rope and shit."
I mean, not like it'll happen, but ah, you know.

Yeah, I'm in my target BMI, and I'm pretty darn healthy according to my physician. Great blood pressure, low cholesterol, strong heart and lungs. I still exercise because I know if I wanna stay this way I gotta try harder and not wait until my metabolism is shot because by then it's too late. :(

Yeah that used to happen to me. Suckin Dicks. You should probably decrease your reps, and watch your fluid intake.

I just went biking for half an hour. It was semi-strenuous in that it was a slight incline the whole way. I drank water before I left...which also may have made it bad. Sometimes a lot in my tummy when I'm exercising makes things worse, even if it is just water.

That's what I'm saying, watch it. Too much water fucks up your workout.

I'd rather get dizzy and nauseous from sex, because biking hurts my butt.
Well, I guess sex does too sometimes.

its best not to eat anything an hour before working out...
also if you get dizzy...STOP, SLOW DOWN!

Well, I don't get dizzy/lightheaded till I stop. Maybe I don't realize it? Or maybe it just happens then?

Well how do you feel during your workout? Do you feel like your pushing yourself so hard that you want to stop or do you feel fine until afterwords?
Depending on how long your cycling, it may be best to sip on some water during your workout.
I don't like to drink water during cardio, but my HIIT training only lasts about 20 minutes.
Hope you get over your dizzyness.
I was watching some commercial with a buncha guys running today and it got me wondering...
what do balls do when a guy runs or jumps? do they jiggle and bounce all around like boobies? i know my boobies hurt after a lot of bouncy running and whatnot.

I'm pretty sure that's what cups are for.
But yeah, Justin, I feel fine when I'm working out. I think sometimes I just need to stop pushing myself so hard though because my body's fine and adjusts, but once I stop it's like BAM!

I think it would be best if you were able to monitor your heart rate during your exercise(which is availble on some machines) Your heart rate is probably exceeding your target heart rate zone. Which can cause dizzyness if your above that range for a certain period of time.
Here is a page where you can insert your age, resting heart rate and your goal to determine the best lower/upper limits for your workout. If you stay within that range your workout will be more productive and hopefully cut down on your dizzyness spells.
Target Heart Rate Calculations (http://www.hydroxycut.com/MEN/CALCULATORS/HEART_RATE/index.shtml)

cups are just for protecting your junk from people who might be in a position to hurt them (inadvertently or no), you don't wear one when you go running, haha.
there are a lot of factors involved, but at worst, they just kinda swing around, it doesn't hurt or anything.

See, I would think that you WOULD wear one cuz it sure as hell hurts if you run without a bra. Sensitive areas slapping skin = bad.
Justin, I don't go to a gym. I ride a bike around my neighborhood because it's free! I used to belong to a gym, but I hated being stuck in a stuffy place with smelly people, running in place. I enjoy the fresh air and stuff. But the downside is I can't tell how much I'm burning or how long I go for if I forget a watch.

when was the last time you ate before you went out on your bike ride? sounds like you got a case of low sugar + exercise.

...but if you want to burn fat, your best bet is to exercise (usually 20-30 minutes of cardio) on an empty stomach. And that won't necessarily make you nauseus and dizzy.
I'd say nausea/dizziness is one or more of these things:
Body isn't used to the exercise
Trying to do too much/too much intensity
Poor diet
Eating rotting varmint just before workout

wrong, my dear. fat burn is the same anyway you go about it because for the first 15-25 minutes, you're ALWAYS burning your sugar reserves first. fat burn comes after that. regardless of the food you have eaten.
actually, if you run on an empty stomach, research has found that you end up burning a little bit less calories (and inevitable, fat) because you run out of energy sooner.
now, i know people, myself included, that CANNOT run on a full stomach. i have to tread very lightly on that line, the choice of pre-workout snack has to be a careful one for each person and the time it takes you to be ready to exercise also varies and it's an individual's choice. but if you're going for high-energy workouts that you want to complete in the same high-energy as you began it, an empty stomach will not work out well.

I had din-din maybe about 2 hours beforehand. But I am more out of shape, and I worked pretty hard. I think I just need to take it down a notch.
