Bear with me while i babble on before i get to my point:
I havent posted much on here for several months because :
1) I didnt have much to say .
2) I kinda think most people on here regard me as a bit of a twat and i got a bit bored
3) My wife gave birth to our first daughter, hannah, and thats taken up a lot of my time.
4) My dad died about two weeks after my daughter was born. It was a downer but it was expected, he was ill with emphysema for a long time.
What i wanted to ask was has anyone got any similar stories about life following death with people or animals close to them. It just seemed a little strange to me that one person entered my family then straight away another left it. I know its a bit morbid but i was interested in what you lot had to say.

My father in law died the week after we got married, that was quite surreal (but this was also expected - stomach cancer).
Congratulations on your new arrival by the way, I hope all is well with that side of things.

My father in law died just before I accidentally got knocked up. The odd thing is, I have brown eyes and hubby has green, but daughter has blue, like her dead grandad.

Cheers - in a funny way its helped keeped my spirits up and keep me sane, whilst my dad was ill in hospital, i was very busy travelling, visiting dad, helping my sister and helping my wife so I didnt have time to dwell on it and I suppose that my daughter is a sign that life goes on so yes all is well.

reincarnation exists
Yeah possibly but you might not come back as a human. Could be a crocodile or beetroot or an ice cream van. Anythin is possible.

Nothing really to add as far as literal life and death goes, but I wanted to congradulate you on your newborn and say I'm sorry to hear your dad died.
Good luck to you. Those are huge changes.

my grandfather, mom's dad, died a month after i was born - i think on the day i was baptised. it means a lot to my mom and holds all sorts of meaning and symbolism to her. reincarnation or something like that

congrats on the baby!
at the same time, my condolences on the loss of your father. i haven't had that particular experience, but it appears that it all happened that way in your family to ease everyone's suffering and help you family to focus on something other than mourning.

Thanks for all the congrats and comisarations . It has been a hard time but as I said having baby has helped and i think if i can deal with feeling a wide range of emotions in a short space of time I can deal with pretty much anything.
Cheers again

Nice one mate.
Yeah, I had another experience with cats a few years ago, me and my mate saw a cat get hit by a bus and it was still movin so we stopped but it had died by the time we got out. So we picked it up and eventually buried it but a woman came out to see what was goin on and said we could come in her house and wash our hands and she showed us 4 kittens that had been born that afternoon. bit strange.
