"Snatchifying Yourself" on Photoshop.

A few years back, someone (I think it was Boomin') put up some instructions for making a picture of yourself look like the stills in the intro to Snatch.

It was really good but have lost the instructions due to moving flat. I have searched the web but the only one I have found (this one: http://tuekistan.com/tips/snatchify.php) is way too complicated.

So, if you're still here Boomin' and you read this, I will be most gracious.

If you do:
Select/Color Range

you can isolate that black layer, then go over to the layers palatte hit the paths tab, and then hit the little arrow in the corner.

then:
Make Work Path...
and set it to it's lowest tolerance (.5)

and then:
File/Export/Paths To Illustrator
and it allows you to re-save it as a vector file.

Now that it's a vector, go into AI and drop a color in there. you may need to monkey with the vector a bit to make sure the white parts stay white and the colored parts stay colored.

Once you have a vector, the real fun begins bc you can do shit with it in Flash and also duplicate it and stuff. It looks all crisp like.

I did this for hours the other day...fun. It impresses people and it isn't alot of work.
