Maybe I was the only one who liked Voltron (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uS5b8aQ6z8) and Thundercats. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Qd_IsxgAf8)

I think Thundercats had the most kickass intro to a cartoon ever created. Just watch those extreme camera angles and the special effects. Reflected lights and all! It's no wonder so many people from my generation latched onto anime.

I know I left out an assload of shows too. Like He-Man. I loved cartoons.

As an ickle girl Bod was definitely one of my favourite, but Rainbow was right up there too. I wanted to be Jane from Rod, Jane and Freddy. :o

This, however, was my absolute favourite from 1980 onwards

i also loved going live and all those saturday morning kids variety shows - just sat in front of the tv drinking juice and eating your cereal, vegging out.

oh, and i loved the x-men cartoon. that was on when i lived in germany on sunday lunchtimes, and i was allowed to go out to get a bratwurst mit frites (and mayo!) and eat it with the x-men. good times. (y) god i want some smoked sausage and chips.

conan the adventurer!
awesome cartoon.

That shit would play at 5am in the morning when I had to catch my bus. I rarely saw an entire episode. The part when it goes "CONAN... THE MIGHTIEST... WARRIOR... EVAR!" is pretty Will Ferrel. Um, that phoenix.. I forget it's name. Kind of an annoying character. Not as much as Snarf though.

i know that i liked it but i saw it when i was very young and the only thing i remember really is that i owned the blue one as the blue one was the token chick

Yeah she was weak lol. :p I remember watching the reruns when I was about 3. I remember getting maybe my third haircut (my mom let my hair grow for a couple YEARS) and watching that and He-Man with the old ladies gettin' they hair did. I think I only had the black cat toy when I was younger. I had always wanted the whole set and I decided to pick up a re-make at Toys R Us a few years back (6) when I was shopping for my godchild. Best $20 I ever spent... on a children's toy. :/
