.be done with it". pointing back and forth at me and Nathan. I said, "I started seeing someone, but I like you more and you have to tell me that I should just get over it." and he said, "well, I'm in a relationship, and it's been going on for a long time and I think I'm ready to get out of it." and I said, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm really drunk, I just had to say something." and he said, "I'm happy for you that you met someone, so maybe you should get over it, and we can just be friends." and I said, "I can't be friends with you, it hurts my heart." and he said, "it hurts my heart when you say that." and he said, "I'll see you on saturday right?" and I said, "I don't know" and he said, "come on", and I said, "it's too hard". and then I walked away.

I started crying and my friends were like, "it's okay, it's okay" and I said, "I know, this is good, this is good, I'll just ride my bike home and cry and then move on." and then Nathan's roommate was like, "what's wrong", so I had to admit to him the whole thing, and he just hugged me. I said, "I'm the best girl!" and everyone was like, "everyone knows you're the best girl!" and then I felt better.

but then, I started to ride my bike, and my purse got stuck in my wheel and I flipped upside down and ripped my new pants. :( haaaaaaaaa I have a skinned knee and some bruises. but Ima be alright. I called the Dude after on my way home, but he didn't answer. his voicemail is him singing the theme song from Gilmore Girls and it made me happy.

Doesn't seem to have done the Monkees any harm.

dw: there's a guy in my office that i know you would get all swoony and write tons of stories about if you worked here. he seems nice and laid back. his in his mid-late 20s, always wears tight black jeans, converse, some sort of old raggy sweater, a bushy-ish beard, john lennon hair circa the white album and he always wears a scarf and a hat like this (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://i13.ebayimg.com/05/i/06/bf/68/a7_1.JPG&imgrefurl=http://cgi.ebay.com/mens-classic-STETSON-vintage-50s-dress-FEDORA-hat_W0QQitemZ8404778635QQcategoryZ14065QQcmdZViewI tem&h=311&w=400&sz=16&hl=en&start=41&tbnid=dB1pKy7kR-h3OM:&tbnh=96&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dstetson%2Bmen%2527s%2Bhat%26start%3D4 0%26ndsp%3D20%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa% 3DN). yup.

14 year old girls drink smirnoff ice.

bionic...probably...but I don't know about that hat. it reminds me of a hat cordo's teenage cousin wears in about 10 pictures he took of himself on myspace.

anyway, the whole thing was silly. I'm embarassed about crying in front of people, I wasn't annoying though, I hope...I was more just trying to laugh it off. if anything, it was nice to see the caring side of some of the people I know that I don't ordinarily see. I got a message this morning from Nathan's roommate asking if I was alright and I told him I broke my arm, but wrapped it up in scotch tape so I'll be fine.

also, even though what I said to Nathan probably wasn't appropriate, I feel better for saying something. so now I can really get past my feelings for him. because what kind of man is he anyway? and he quit his record store job a few months ago to look for something in the art field, then gave up and got a job at another record store. and he's 32. and I have to tell myself, "he's just a big kid who doesn't know what he wants and you don't need that."

hmph!
