So the second episode was like a billion times better than the first.

SPOILER ALERTS ALL AROUND!!

Toby was so cute when he was trying to ask out Pam. The whole episode was funny, cute, etc. I was dying when Jim walked into Dwight's room and Angela was there. Hah!! Awesome.

I've been bummed out lately because the new season isn't as good as the last two. Last nights episode didn't really make me laugh at all except for the part where Jim said "Oh my God! Dwight got a hooker!"

So so so good. And when Dwight called out Michael not having email on his phone. I think I pissed myself watching Michael trying to cover that up.

Serious? Wow. I thought the first episode was weird but this on was better.

BUT I think that had a lot to do with Michael and Jim interacting again, which is just golden. The fact that this is not going to be the case normally (at least untill the branches combine, who knows when that will happen), is what sucks, because the vibe in the other office is crappy.

The thing with all the stains on the bed was hilarious.

I really wish that it would have turned out that Michael's party was awesome, and that whoever, athlete guy, actually showed up for it. Maybe people were expecting that though.

"Why do they call him the Bus?"
"Because he has a fear of flying"

I watched it with my buddy who has never really watched it, and he was just looking at me like i was insane because I get SO into it

The fact that Bettis was in it just makes me like the show that much more.

When Josh got the text from Jan and Michael pretended to get it too and Dwight said "You don't get emails on your phone" so he pretended to get a call was golden.

this is the only show i watch..........i used to work in scranton so i catch all of the references......anyway, i think this season is subpar so far.....you can't rely on michael's stupidity every episode....its gonna get old quick.....once jim comes back it should pick up.......

Sorry for being a bit behind the times but I have just started watching some of it they are now showing here in England I was a fan of the UK but never really tried to watch US, but I watched an episode where he gave out the staff awards at a bar, fucking hilarious, no idea what series thats from

DandyFop

That's the first episode of Season 2. You should get that season, it's so good.

I'll get on it. I've only seen the first two of the first series and that one, the thing is I found is that were the UK one is really hard to watch sometimes the US one repeats that feat and then some, its REALLY cringeworthy sometimes and that kinda put me off for a bit. Its funny but hard work.

i think that's the beautiful thing about the show though (both versions), is that they're fictional characters, but you feel real honest emotion towards them when they do things (like cringing whenever david/michael does anything).

that and it's funny too

Jitters

i like the jim/pam dynamic......

Me too, that's why I haven't really been feeling the new season so far. That and so far Micheal isn't as funny he used to be but it's only been two episodes so they have plenty of time left to pick up the slack.

So I'm reviving this thread, yo. Man I love this show. Last night's episode with Ben Franklin was awesome.

Oh I met David Denman (Roy) at sundance, he is a tall drink of water. And fuckin' hot.

i loved the part in last week's episode (phyllis' wedding) where ryan smacked the bouquet out of kelly's hand. it was such a subtle joke, they didn't even really draw attention to it, but it was hilarious if you saw it

2 weeks ago the scene when Jim imitates Dwight was very funny.

Does everyone know that Karen is Quincy Jones daughter?

DandyFop
05-17-2007, 09:16 PM
^Yes I remember reading that and LOLing because of Quincy in Arrested Development.

So I just saw the last like 15 minutes of the finale because I'm dumb and didn't know what time it was. THank god for the internet.

But it doesn't matter. Because that part with Jim/Pam was all I needed. I actually screamed into a pillow. Apparently this show turns me into a 15 year old.

Yeah, Creed's definitely my favorite character now just from the past two weeks. I never thought I'd be saying this, but Kelly is pretty damn funny, too. Ryan's not that funny at all. I'm glad he got the job at corporate, but how? At Scranton, they always made fun of him for not being able to make a sale. I know David mentioned that "It would be nice to have another MBA around," but doesn't performance factor in? Oh, well. Good finale.

yeah, he's growing on me too. he really plays the character well, he does all these insane old man things, but he's completely deadpan about it.

DandyFop
05-18-2007, 03:36 PM
Pfff, I liked Creed first! That makes me so cool!

No really, last year when they started giving him just one line every once in a while, he became my favorite character. When that thing ends up in Michael's office and they're all gagging from the smell and Creed comes in "Somebody makin' soup?". One of my favorite lines ever.

I think they use him a bit too much now, because I like him popping up more randomly instead of in every single episode. But he's still pure awesomeness. I loved the blog thing.

Ryan is lame now, I used to be in love with him and now he's just boring/annoying.

Actually I liked her and Jim's dynamic, when they teased each other. But I don't want them to date because interracial relationships are wrong.

yeah, i'm wondering the same thing. she kind of got screwed there; she didn't get the job, so she has no reason to move to new york, and now jim's left her for the girl that she's jealous of, so she's stuck in scranton with that.

i dunno, she seems nice enough, that kind of sucks for her.

"Maybe my job could be our relationship. I could wear stretch pants and wait for you to come home at 5:15"

Ha, awesome

Hey cosss, I think you're onto something there with the Ryan not getting Jan's job. So maybe Karen does get it, or even Jim does for that matter but still asks Pam out anyway. Hrmmmm.
