I'm easily fooled. I can't figure out how he does this one. Pls help. :(

It's pretty easy.

The blue 5 of clubs is at the bottom with the red 5 of clubs above it. Note how the bottom cards always are at the bottom with that way of shuffling. Then the card he picks (in this case 8 of diamonds, it works with everything) goes under the blue card and when he shows it he picks up both the 8 and the blue 5. Follows up that by showing the bottom red 5, and of course there's not a blue card in the pack so he looks under the one on the table and hey! it's the 5 of clubs.
