Well if you take a look at the comments directly underneath his post you'll find that he didn't "destroy" anything. Not that I disagree with him, just there is a flip side to the coin.

and while it makes them look even more foolish...
it will likely have little effect on them themselves...

By the way, Taibbi's book Spanking the Donkey is highly recommended.

It's his account of the 2004 Presidential election as a reporter following Kerry et al.

It's hilarious and actually rather powerful in its cynicism.
