anyone watch this? it's on adult swim, it was made (in part) by brendon small, creator of home movies. the show's absolutely nothing like home movies, but i just wanted to namedrop brendon small.

i could describe it to you, or you could watch the first episode (http://youtube.com/watch?v=j2OMaW0BlM8) and see for yourself.

looks like most of the other episodes are up on youtube too, actually, which is sweet.

anyway i like it. i haven't watched tv for a while, so i completely forgot this show was coming out. i'd have started a thread about it ages ago if i'd known

haha i figured you might be one of the first (only? :( ) to reply (y)

maybe it's schtick that'll get old eventually but for now, i think it's great. i like the music, too, actually. it's both funny and kinda cool, sort of like it was in home movies (reminds me of the franz kafka rock opera a little).

yeah the music is cool (y) I think it's OK, not one of the best shows, but still I watch every episode. See if you can find the one where they get their parents together, the end of that cracks me up with the guy in the wheelchair and KILL_ME_KILL_ME_KILL_ME over and over in that stephen hawking voice "I HAVN'T HAD AN ERECTION IN 15 YEARS" "PLEASE KILL ME"

haha yeah i saw that one

i think my favorite one so far is the comedy episode. i don't even remember what was so funny, i just remember cracking up.

I like that show - but I think "Korgoth The Barbarian" is funnier (even though they've only made the pilot to my knowledge).

that comedy one is the best episode so far. i find it really hard to get other people into this show though, like it's got a very limited appeal. plus half the time you can't understand what they're saying until you've watched a few episodes then you can kinda figure out their voices and accents

i have so much torrenting to do, jesus christ. i need a list. i STILL haven't seen the new venture bros. and the new season of the office just started, and lost is about to start up on wednesday and i'm falling behind on the colbert report and the daily show and....

well, it still beats watching TV. not as good as tivo though.

yeah i agree with you about the voices on dethklok, it's hard at first. the first episode is especially tricky. you get used to it though.
