one thing i will say though, i never noticed how ANNOYING college students were. i mean like seriously, roughly 99% of them i want to punch in the face. the law school's on the same campus as the university. we have our own building, but we have to go outside now and then for food and to get to the train and stuff. it's rough, i tell you

i got stopped by a hippie once on my way back to class, i have no idea what the fuck he was trying to pitch. he says "hey, do you think bush should be impeached?" and i go "oh, sure" thinking he wants me to sign a petition or something (because there was a fucking petition and people were signing it). then he starts going off talking about plato's republic and how it's funny that it starts from a conversation about what justice is and then it results in theory of government and how it's interesting that it took so long, and then he starts quoting martin luther king for some reason, then he asks me what country i'm from, and i say "connecticut" and he asks me if that's near france and if we have mandatory military service? he says something about all those "stan" countries, you know, kazakhstan, pakistan whatever, i dunno what that had to do with anything. then he says "i'm gonna tell you something that's really gonna make you mad...ready? there is no entropy in the universe"

so i start walking away, and he goes "how can you walk away from something like that?" and i'm just at a loss for words, and he yells "WHY ARE YOU THINKING LIKE A SLAVE, MAN?!" as i continue to walk away. i should have yelled back "uh, why are you?" but i think i just said "oh, it's easier".

i would've signed the petition if he'd have just shut the fuck up. not a marketing major, apparently.

i miss learning things that i didn't already know in 6th grade. community college sucks :(

My friends said I'd miss college. I don't. It's because they lived on campus, went to parties and social events (football games, etc), lived with their best friends on their parents' dime and didn't commute.

Me? I commuted 25 miles away (one way) every damn day, stayed on campus 8 hours, and when I wasn't there I was at work to pay for school. So yeah, I don't miss it. I tried telling my one friend I'd LOVE to have a full-time job (I'd be busy less), and she said no way. I *DO* love having a full-timer. A salary is so much nicer than being in debt and working your ass to the bone.
