Did you do that thing where you start a topic and then decide you don't want to do it so you use the back button but you can't delete it so you have to change the title and delete your thread?

I really do want to dye my hair black again. but I want to keep my blonde highlights. I'm doing it at home, I always do my own color but double processing at home is kinda risky. if I take it all the way to black bringing it back up that many levels to blonde is gonna be picky. might turn orange. which is very halloween and all however not so work friendly.
Well if you don't say who it is, you're just being rude.
Not rude, mysterious.

Yeah, and its really tough to leave out a portion of hair. You could wrap the blonde part in plastic or foil to keep it away from the rest of your hair.

I was seriously considering that option. and if it doesn't look right then just biting the bullet and going all black.
I suppose I could do the base color myself and pay a pro to do streaks. but I like do my own hair and it's cheaper. then again... I'm not sure I should press my luck, comining of a rare sucess of receiving a 15 dollar supercuts do that came out so fantastic. I mean could I really get lucky twice?

i think i'm gonna redye my hair, i do it at home using this asian product called "bigen." it's this powder you mix up with water and apply to your hair. it doesn't have ammonia or anything, and it doesn't wash out - the only way to get rid of it is to grow it out. fuck knows what's in it, but it's cheap as hell and works better than anything else.
