Start with a nice 7 grain bread. mmm
SLiced avocado
Alfalfa or any sprout of your choice (maybe bean or evey lemon grass)
Red onion slices (it looks purple and tastes like heaven)
Home made hummus-->recipe below
thinly sliced tomato
and to top it off some brown spicey mustard with horseradish
it is soo very good

hummus is so easy
can of garbanzo beans aka chick peas (mashed or blended)
lemon juice (add to the consistency you like) some like it runny some like it more pasty
add as much garlic as you like, me i like a lot you maybe not so much
then you can tweak it any way you like with other herbs and sundried tomatoes or cilantro or peppers.
enjoy.
this sandwich makes me happy every time i eat it.
hope it does the same for you,

So the 7 grainer, is it a sandwich toast kinda bread or a real mans bread full of grain, which tastes awesome on day one and like mothballs on day 2 and later?

It is a bread that comes from the bakery in my town. Don't know what youre buying but this stays good till I am done with it. I do eat it like every day tho, the body needs and loves the multigrain. I know that makes me sound like a food nerd, and I am. COmes from years of abuse I am trying to make up for. BUt if you get a good fresh 7 grain from the bakery not the prepacked wonder bread aisle it is plenty hearty to satisfy even the manliest man. And never mothbally.

Doesn't hummus have sesame seeds as well?

You could add it, or sesame oil. Normally it is ground chickpeas...
