There is nothing gay about mojitos. They are a delightful refreshing drink with a bit of a strong side to not have it be in the same league as a mararita, etc.

They taste like a mix of poison nettles and mint leaves. Pretty nasty actually.

what's in a mojito?

1.5 oz BACARDI Rum
12 fresh spearmint leaves
1/2 lime
7 oz club soda
2 tbsp. simple syrup
(or 4 tsp. sugar)
I can't wait to confuse the fuck out of my local pub staff!(y) :)

Just remember Paul, it's pronounced "MO-hee-toe." Not Mo-ji-toe.

I was ordered one for my birfday, a peach one. It was pretty damn good.

whenever I read the word "mojito (http://members.tripod.com/~foodgodbb/beavis.jpg)" I think of Beavis saying it.

Ah, I much prefer that particular style of beaver. Guess I have to accept sub-par substitutes.
