Impossible Music Fest- Beastie Boys tonight 10pm

hey all!

ive noticed no one has mentioned anything about the impossible music fest on triple j radio!

(for ppl not in australia, the 'impossible music festival' is an event thats been on triple j radio all weekend, basically ppl could vote for their favourite band or gig that triple j has recorded in the last 30 years. so since fri night they have been playing non stop live music.

beastie boys' big day out gig from sydney 2005 will be played at 10pm AEST. you can hear it over the web too, goto:

Fuck, I forgot how good they sounded when they came out here.

I was all against this thing because Nirvana got 30 minutes, while they gave Cog an hour. I didn't even figure the Beastie Boys would get a mention. I just got home from work, and I did laps around my block listening to the last 5 songs of the set.
