Now if Bush invaded Iraq over the threat they might possibly maybe have weapons of mass destruction, and they believe North Korea has just tested a nuke..surely he HAS to do something now? Otherwise it would be further proof Iraq wasn't about WMD at all....

they could attack China, South Korea, or Japan most likely. Therefore they wont be perceived as a threat to us per se, possibly our interests...so we wont persue any military action. If they had some oil we would be lined up at their borders.


It probably wont go any further than a lot of political talk, imposed sanctions, and no actual conflict resulting in a war.



Maybe I am giving him the benefit of the doubt, but im sure Our Dear Leader Kim Jung Il at least acknowledges the fact that a pre-emptive nuclear attack on any country would result in his country being essentially destroyed in retaliation.

I think this is actually a good thing in a round about way. It means there wont be an escalation of the war in Korea.
