I know most of you make fun of me for slobbing all over Incubus' knob but are there any other actual fans of them around this place?

Their new album drops November 28th and I'm sad to say I'm not totally in love with the lead single.

But it's ok, the album will still have sex with my brain.

the single is playing on my myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/misterfilms) if anyone cares to give a shit.

a friend of mine recently got me into these guys. I've always seen them as a bit of 'for the chicks type band' but I gotta admit that i'm actually loving them at the mo.

Is it uncool to like incubus? Coz personally I couldn't give a fuck!

i like S.C.ience (got lazy part way through, sorry), and maybe half of whatever the next one was called, but i find them a little boring to be honest

why though?

i dunno, i'm terrible at defending my taste in music, i just think they're boring, mostly. they don't hold my attention, i find myself waiting for songs to end, i dunno, it's just me

I had a theory a couple months ago about Incubus. I believed that one day they all got so high that they forgot they were a band, and that that's where a new album was, nowhere.

he quit/was kicked out in 2003. The "new guy" is Ben Kenney who played with the Roots on Phrenology.

I like him.

I liked Dig. The vocals were interesting at times. I never gave Incubus a chance before.

They lost me after Make Yourself. I wasn't even big on that album, but I bought it and thought it was decent. Fungus Amongus, Enjoy Incubus, and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. are all very good. I feel bad for the people that just recently (past few years) got into them. They are like two different bands comparing them now from 10 years ago.

Light Grenades is out today and is much much better than their last record.

Morning View is still the masterpieces though.

ok, I have listened to the CD like a zillion times and it is definately a break up record (Carolyn Murphy).

Its good, Quicksand is my favorite (I wish it was longer though) :(

the good Incubus albums are break-up albums. See also: Morning View.

"Oil and Water" might be one of the best break-up songs ever.

"Dig" might be my fav song by them ever.
