No idea. I've only been in Vegas for 2 months. I know I'll get stoned for this, but the best show I've been to was 21 & over. It was at Crobar in Miami and was similar in size to the Gimme Shelter event so that probably helped too.

I am lookin at the venue's website, and all of the gigs that are scheduled there are all ages except one which is 18+...so im feelin pretty good. Found a flight that is nice.... lets hope this all works out.

My vacation pay at work is at $352 since ive never touched it since i started working. and the airplane tix for me are $349, so i can barely pay that...and then i have a tiny bit of money for just being there, eating...so, i can squeeze it by. I get a paycheck on Friday, but its all the shifts that i wasnt at while i was in NYC..so i think it might have like 2 or 3 shifts on it. so.................i hope to see everyone there. It will be worth it im sure...i wonder if they will play a longer set.

Etnies employees are allowed to bring one guest, so if you know someone who works for Etnies, hit them up for an invite. It's probably the only way you'll get into the show.

It sucks that they made this seem like a show fans could go to easily. It's very much a private party.

If there's 7 skate shops involved, that means each shop is getting fewer than 20 tickets to distribute. That's like nothing! (n)

VIP tickets have a special section (which includes food and drinks) and are limited to employees + guest as well as other VIP guests of the company. VIP tickets have access to all venues, including areas for regular tickets.
After the Beastie Boys performance, regular tickets patrons are ushered out and the VIP party starts.

i got tix at both the huntington beach and orange locations.

i got my hb tix 1/2 hour before the posted time...kroq guy just standing there looking for people to come up to him for the tickets. no line. i drove by 20 mins later and there was maybe 10 people lining up...but i'm sure he had plenty of tickets for all of them

for the orange one...i happened to be in the area around 2 pm (they posted handing them out at 4-6 p.m.) to do some shopping and spotted the kroq van. again, i just walked up to the the guy and asked for the tickets. he even had a obnoxious megaphone trying to get people's attention...but no one but old ladies and their shopping carts around.

Justin, listen to me. You want a GENERAL ADMISSION ticket. You should only get one of the other options if you cannot tolerate standing. A general admission ticket means you can queue and be against the stage if you want to.

I thought the VIPs would be in tables that were aligned against the stage and that the general admissions would be much further behind them, in the back, without a close vantage point. Imagine how surprising it was to pay general admission and be able to be RIGHT up against the stage, close enough to touch them.

Hi, For Anyone going to vegas, a cheap place to stay is Circus circus. http://www.circuscircus.com/. It is only 44.95 a night for oct 23rd and it is a pretty cool place to stay. Excalibur is the 2nd cheapest nice place to stay, and that is right next door to Luxor.

ok so straight after school my mom picked me up & we headed to the ticket drop location (she was a little cranky bless her for being patient)

so we get there an hour early & the KROQ people aren't there :mad:

we come back at the right time (4pm) & some people are there waiting and they're still not there:mad:

we wait another 45 minutes & still no tickets!:mad:

the store people called the guy with the tickets a couple times and finally the guy said he couldn't make it so they were going to mail us 4 tickets instead....everybody writes down their names & address on a clip-board

so i waited around 2 hours for that but as long as i get my tickets i'm happy:D
