...in America, anyway.
In certain parts of America, anyway. :o
Eastwood's Flags of Our Fathers is getting good reviews, straight off. (Also looking forward to Letters from Iwo Jima, the second part, nexy year -- that should be interesting).
Nolan's new movie, The Prestige shows up. Lookit the cast -- Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Scarlett Jo, Michael Caine, David Bowie. The book is pretty good but gets a little plot-screwy, and hopefully they fixed that part.
S. Coppola's Marie Antoinette. Maybe Kirsten's even good again this time. And Jason Schwartz is always the man.
I'm stoked. (y)

Sorry. Screwed up the "multiple choice" part.
Vote for whichever has you most excited, I guess.
Dang.

An embarassment of mixed reviews!

Coppola's movie seems like a winner. Too bad I go to school way out in the countryside, were bumblefuck morons don't like to see good movies.

I really wanted to see Flags of our Fathers then last night I noticed it was directed by Clint Eastwood and that made me want to see it even more. Plus I really enjoy history/war movies. I'm going in with high hopes on that one

It's Prestige all the way.
Flags of Our Fathers looks like a big snore for some reason.
I actually hate Lost in Translation and movie snob code forces me to hate Marie Antoinette.

Have you seen the trailer? It looks good, but if you're expecting a movie that's mostly a "war movie," you might be disappointed.
I'm SO, SO happy about this weekend, man. Whoo hoo!

I see that one with a friend tomorrow. I raved about Memento until he finally drove up and saw it with me and some other folks, then he started dragging people.
I doubt that Prestige is that good, but what the hey.
