That New Action Figure Smell

I used to love the smell of a new Star Wars figure when I opened it as a kid. what a wonderful smell. I am sure it's the smell of my Brain dying. Discuss.

I had a good smell memory like that today, except it wasn't from action figures. It was from opening new make-up. It brought me back to my tween years when I would get super excited about FINALLY being able to wear make-up to school.

Hmmm..I wonder if all of the little plastic Barbie items you could buy for Barbie (cars, kitchens, etc.) carried the same "plastic" smell as action figures.

I used to love going into this one drug store called "Fays" as a kid. It had this weird smell, but a smell good enough to eat -- can't explain. Not like food.. Like.. Flowery.

And for some reason, now, I love the way Payless smells. New shoe smell, OMGAWD!
