My stretch marks are sexy. And so are my birthing hips.

I tell myself this everyday as I look in the mirror and frown.

if my mother had britches i wouldn't fit into them. she was skinny in her attractive days.

HEIRESS

my mom is skinny and tall and leggy

if I was in her britches my entire body would be a stretch mark

monkey
10-12-2006, 09:22 PM
ditto for me. my mother is entirely much tinier than i. i was her size when i was 9. i blame her for making me so "big and healthy" but she blames me for her stretch marks. i call it even.

zorra_chiflada
10-12-2006, 09:24 PM
my mother has all these expensive dresses from the 70s and she's all "sure susan, go ahead they're yours now, try them on." the fucking bitches wouldn't fit over my hips, not even fucking close.

we have suckers, and we have "this sucks" and "suck my dick", but not "sucked in"

When I was in my roaring 20s I picked a gal at a bar. We decided to go back to my place and get dirty. I noticed she had some stretch marks but she had a fine body. I asked her out for a 2nd date and I went to pick her up for the date. Her 3 year old daughter was playing in the living room. She was only 19 and the little girl scared me a bit. I was only about 21 at the time. I think we went to a movie and rolled around in the sack some more. I can say that the result of stretch marks scared me off but not the actual stretch marks.

I have stretch marks on my lower back, so does my mom, they're from growing taller, not wider. I hate them. and if we're comparing body types with our moms, I have thinner legs, she has a smaller waist. I have round boobs that are medium-sized, she's got large-sized pancakey boobs. we've got very similar faces, but I've a better nose and she's got better lips. but overall we're both basically tree trunks with pretty faces. :/

ooooh child (i can say that because i have years of tears shed over these motherfuckers, i tells ya!), don't even talk to me about stretchmarks.

those piddly little things that normal girls get over their hips maybe a little or thighs or boobies (which you can't see properly if you're wearing a good bra) - pft! fine! no worries.

me, i have HUGE fucking beasts across my central stomach, a la pregnant ladies. except, i've never had a baby. i put on an enormous amount of weight when i first came to university and went on the pill and the whole swiftness of the extra hormones just made them appear.

i will never, ever be able to wear a bikini and i will always worry about them and panic over them if i ever happen to sleep with another man that isn't my current boyfriend who totally doesn't give two hoots about them. and for that i am grateful. i heart that boy.

i will probably get more as i am slowly losing weight at about 2/3 lbs a week and your skin will have to adapt. but hey, i've rather be thinner and healthier and with more scars than not.

it really gets me down. i spent a lotta £££ on various lotions and potions and yes, they have faded and you can't see them as prominently but still, they are permanent and will be there for THE REST OF MY LIFE. which made me :( and teary a lot when i first had to deal with them but not anymore. what's the point in getting upset about things you can't change? i'm still sorta hot sometimes, right? (erm.. maybe! BIG UP THE OPRAH CONFIDENCE!)

na§tee
10-13-2006, 05:49 AM
it's not just because i won't be able to wear a fucking bikini, i don't even want to. it's just an example of how if i ever had the desire, i wouldn't. it's an example of how these little liberties that people with un-scarred bodies take for granted can be changed. and wearing two piece bathing suits, or being confident when you're undressed, or getting changed at a gym are all, in some small ways, liberties and freedoms that i could do better had i an un-blemished body.

My stretchmarks are my womanhood battle scars.
I get them out at parties to intimidate other women.
The longest one I have is 8 inches.

i wear a bikini regardless of my belly, etc. i went too long worrying about how i dont look like a model on the beach. and then i realized there's REALLY fat women sometimes out there and they give two shits about how they look. i happen to be a little (a lot) bigger right now than i like, but i still have a kinda-flat tummy and a really hard ass. so :p and the stretch marks on my hips are just there to prove i got... big ol hips.

If you lose weight slowly, you're less likely to wind up with stretch marks.

But, anyway. I've got 'em on my thighs, I think. I know I've seen them.

you know, kid p, the way you talk about your relationship with your woman is so lovely. it sounds like you two have a good thing going. just thought i'd say that. :)

and yeah, normally i wouldn't wear a bikini either, but my old swimsuit was all baggy and threadbare and i was about 2,000 miles from home and the only one-pieces in that tourist town were for old ladies. besides, this one had little asian girls on it :o i still felt totally self-conscious wearing it because, strech marks or no, i don't like showing a lot of skin.

i am not way girly suddenly i will piledrive your ass into a pulp

if you love me, you will tell me of this miracle gel.

i've got them from when i was a teen and grew taller and then got a horrible amount of them when i was pregnant with thing 1. thing 2 was so tiny she couldn't have made a strech mark if she tried.

Ladies, most guys could not give the slightest shit about stretchmarks. when i look at a nice female's body, stretchmarks if they are there or not are far from my mind. so flaunt your bodies girls!!! preferably where i can see!!!!

I don't understand how you could avoid them if you've gone through puberty. Especially girls with larger chests. Your skin stretches pretty badly if you have large boobies. If you go from having nothing pre-puberty to having DD's about 5 years later...well, that's a lot of skin that's kind of pulled and manipulated. Stretchmarks are bound to happen. I don't mind them much, because they're virtually invisible. I have a chunky friend who has really dark ones and complains bitterly about them, which I would really REALLY hate. :(
