yeah, I don't know how much for. but this is the first time I ever had a job where I was appreciated, so that's pretty cool.

my boss said to me the other week (i think i've posted this here already actually) "you and me, mate, we should be able to work 35 hours a week and live comfortably, we don't need this stress" (broken machine i was staying back fixing, but the machine sucked balls anyway and we sent it back after that) - and it's like well ok, so are you going to pay me more then? I have a real problem with asking for more money. Everyone knows I'm worth more, it's just like it's up to me to take it, but i think it would be nicer if it was actually offered to me like "hey you did good work so i'm going to pay you xx more each week from now on" rather than me having to go and say something, which like I said I rarely do because it's very difficult. I'm gonna have to soon when I buy property. It's only because I'm not a greedy person and just want enough to get by that i've stayed where I am for so long.

actually I wasn't sure if I was getting one, because my boss kind of just blurted it out last week when I was showing him how to work some new equipment. he was like, "how much do I pay you?" and I said, "**" :( , and he said "I'm giving you a raise!" and I said "yay!" :) but then he said "I have to ask [business/life partner] first" and I was all :rolleyes:

but then last night, he said, "well, your raise went through" and I said, "woo hoo!" and he was like, "it's forrrr" and then someone called him away and I had to leave. so it shall remain a mystery!
