Was it a 12" or a 7" vinyl?
This will make a lot of difference in it's value.

I would take it off your hands if it's the American version.

the label says 'ratcage' with an address underneath. 307 e.9th st. ny 10003.
would that make it the american version? or is the difference in tracklisting?

Yeah you have something nice. Somebody's going to be pissed at his/her parents. FYI you can find all those songs on the "Some Old Bullshit" CD.

Yours is a 7", which means you have the "American version". Its the original press of the first Beastie Boys record. I don't think the 7" version was ever repressed or bootlegged. That's a really good find for 25 pence.

This record was repressed in a 12" version in france, so if you ever see a 12" version, that's the "European Version".

It fluctuates wildly. Anywhere from $50 to $175 depending on all sorts of variables. Condition is big, but also where you sell it and the timing is important on eBay.

i think ive got a gem here from what you all have told me. i bought it in a plastic protective cover, its a bit used at the top the left hand side on the sleve. but the actual record is really good ...not mint, but near enough.
thing is people, i am interested in selling.
i know its easy to say , but i am genunie, im not a real fan of the band, but i saw something that i thought was good, it seems i was right.
if anyone wants proof that ive got it, let me know how you want me to send that proof. to be honest, i have been slowly finding out ive good collection of some pretty rare singles.
once again, thankyou all for replying to me.
i will sell on ebay if its the best option for this e.p.
once again thankyou all. paul.
