I'm not up on skateboard culture of today, but the old timers I know used to get mad when posers wore them -- especially when the shoes were not scuffed in the right places.

i have two pairs. pink checkerboard, and blue denim with a pattern on them (they might be pictured in the shoe thread where i had posted my many, many boxes of shoes).

they're comfortable and look fine under some circumstances.
