so this morning as i was getting out of a cab on W. 20th b/w 5th and 6th Aves. i look over and see Yauch walking across the street coming at me. i thought, oh shit, and had to say something so i just yelled 'yo yauch!' and he looked over trying to tell if he knew me. obviously he didn't but gave me a smile and a nod so it made my day. i wanted to tell him how great the show was at hiro and etc., etc. but didn't want to be a groupie because he looked he had shit to do. by the way i got the dvd of the show from shelley and it's amazing, great camera work and sound. highly recommend getting one from her if you didn't yet. well, had to share this with somebody and knew y'all would appreciate this. peace

i used to work on that block, on 20th between 5th and 6th
there's a really good, big photo printing shop and a bunch of production companies, and two or three restaurants. on the corner is the now shut down limelight
wonder what he was up to? weird that he wasnt in a car

Not to belittle your personal encounter, varilicious, but this sighting needs embellishment.
so this morning as i was getting out of a cab on W. 20th b/w 5th and 6th Aves. i look over and see Yauch dressed in military garb walking across the street, coming at me with a machete. i thought, oh shit, he's going to kill me and had to say something so i just yelled 'yo yauch! Have mercy!' and he looked over trying to tell if he knew me and should spare my life. obviously he didn't kill me, but gave me a smile and a nod and told me to get lost, so it made my day. i wanted to tell him how great the show was at hiro and how good he looks in khaki etc., etc. but didn't want to be a groupie because he looked he had shit to do and people to kill.
AHAHAHAHAHAHA...this is almost funny!!!

You New Yorkers are so lucky to live where yall live. Always a slight chance of seeing a Beastie Boy on the streets each day. Crazy
