Have you ever seen the 1987 documentary Hail! Hail! Rock 'N' Roll?
Chuck Berry inside and out......it is a great film and I would recommend the DVD rental or purchase. Chuck would travel all by himself and use bands provided the venue. He would walk onstage and tell them just follow my lead and rock the house.
