They're black, innit? And they all play video? Where do you get the video from? Does iTunes rip DVDs? They fixed up the battery issues, aren't they? I am the greetest.

in order to put video on your ipod, its either got to be in this mp4 format i believe, there are converters for it...u can buy them off itunes, which they offer tv shows, im not sure about movies yet. I usually dont listen to my ipod at over 10h straight so i never have a battery issue, but if u are watching the videos it kills it very quickly. like an hour or so...for me. I got the black 60gb video. I still love it though.

when I first got my Ipod I would watch movies on it at work. Its pretty cool but yeah the battery dies reaaaal quick. You're better off just getting a portable DVD player for the video features. Maybe the new 80 gig ones have better battery capability for video features.

Of course I feel manly with the Nano. I also have big headphones so I can pretend I'm hiphop manly.
But then again, I live my life hangin' tough and stayin' hungry.

don't buy an iPod just yet, supposedly a full face screen with virtual menus on a touch screen is coming very very soon, like in time for Christmas soon.

my ex has a video one
he is always always going on about it
oh look i have all the star wars and stuff on it
then tries to show me
i dont want to see movies on a screen that small! i think its stupid - who the hell wants to see tiny little videos.
apart from that, most people i know who have an ipod, have also had an ipod that suddenly stopped working, for no reason whatsoever.
i wouldn't buy one.

yeah i'm with hitmonlee on this one, who wants to watch a video on a screen that small?!? You might as well buy a small 3 year old laptop cause it will play them just fine, have the same amount of storage, and hey bonus you get a laptop. That's if you really want to watch videos. my 2c.

I do want to know about the new iPods. And I haven't the foggiest idea about DVD storage/conversion. :(

The Microsoft one will scan your iTunes and give you all of the songs already in your library for free. That's a rumour.
