anyone played it? I got it cheap and had played a bit of it last weekend. You collect dead birds for some reason :)
I played the first level. It looked like it had the potential to be good but we ended up playing Dead Or Alive and watched the fake titties bounce.
Heard there's going to be a Silent Hill 5 soon. It had better control well.

I don't own a 360, but it looks freaky. Especially the dead birds part.

I recently saw some footage of Silent Hill 4: The Room, where you're witnessing a woman being possessed, and the surroundings are being distorted. Then at one point, you see a woman's giant head (and just that) in back of you, staring down at you. Me, only having played the original, am taken aback by how much the series has changed. I expect Silent Hill 5 to reach unchartered areas.
It was a struggle to go through SH 4 because of the combat system alone. I was pretty impressed by it's graphical stylings and weird ass zombie people coming out of walls. Then I wasn't impressed when I couldn't kill zombies that can teleport through walls. Boo.

I have the game. It's pretty good. It was too short, and the detective/CSI bits feel pretty cheap and linear, but I still enjoyed it.

Those were nothing. The hunters were fucking annoying to kill. But yeah, I agree. That whole game was scary as hell. Everything about it - the music, the mood, the setting. That mansion's decorations were eerie.
