I dont know. I seriously think he is about the only person that truly warrants and out and out banning. He posts absolutely nothing of merit usually completely unrelated to the discussion.

and he bumps up like week old threads to do it, too. like i'll be reading the topic list and it's like "hey, i don't remember this post being--" and i look over to the right and it says "chrisd" and i'll go "oh". even recent topics, if they've been replied to, and it says "chrisd" on the right, i won't read them, even if i'm not sure that other people haven't replied in between. he deters me from reading threads that he's touched.

i tried putting him on ignore but it really doesn't matter because the content of his posts really isn't any less annoying than "this user is on your ignore list". it's not his posts so much as the fact THAT HE posts that's annoying

if there were some way to limit him to like 20 posts a week or something, that might be nice

I actually don't think he should be banned. I think we, as a community, should be able to extend ourselves to such a level of being mean, that he would feel compelled to leave.
