Aw man...I have to say it...if they play their instruments at the Vegas show and I missed it...ah geez. I've wanted to see them do that forever, haven't yet in 4 shows.

Anyway, glad the show was awesome!

Yeah, I would think that makes it more likely there will be instruments in Vegas and LA. They couldn't do a full set in NYC because there were so many on the bill. I had a feeling there would be instruments.

Like I was saying, I'm just sad because I've always wanted to go to a show where they played their instruments, and they'll probably play in Vegas, which I almost went to but couldn't afford it, so I'm sad and I'm trying to pretend like that's not happening :(

ok sorry i didn't understand

The shows where they play their instruments are the best, seen them in Amsterdam and it was great, and it looks like the new album will feature instruments to!!! yes!!!

In 2003, I was pretty sure I'd never see them live again.

The one thing we've learned in the past month is that they don't appear to be retiring. There will be other shows. I'm so sorry about Vegas though. :(

And there's never a guarantee. Vegas might be a one hour rap set after all.

My 2 cents - I loved the show. I always love the BBoys. But why did they cut out so short? It felt like they were ramping up to play a whole set with their instruments, like they did last year in San Francisco. Instead, they played 2 songs, then said "Sorry, we gotta stop now!" Some of my buddies thought it was the Catalyst, but the Catalyst lets bands play all the way up until 1:45, my other bros thought that the BBoys must not have been having fun and decided to call it an early night. Did none of you notice that the show was over so quickly? I love everything bboys do, but I especially enjoy when they play their instruments...

How many songs did the do? Could someone please come through with a setlist. I and others would like to see what all was performed.

From each album, not in order

Brass monkey
Posse
Time To get ill

Shake rump
Eggman

Pass the mic
So what you want
Gratitude

Sure shot
do it
allright hear this
sabotage
root down

Super disco
Body movin
Intergalatic

Triple Trouble
Right now

Opened with root down. Encore was intergalatic. then
they unveiled the instruments for gratitude and sabotage. The same encore as the pagent tour.

Show was just a tad over an hour. Great for a club show.

good job coming through on the songlist. memories are slowly trickling back. If its true that that was only an hour, then that shows me that they were so on, because I was completely satisfied when the show was out.

we rolled 13 deep and took the place over, I have a big problem with bboys shows in that the crowd often just stands there, luckily we could roll around like a small tornado and keep it all moist. ;)

yeah. they came on like about 10:35 or so and probably got
off the stage about 11:40. the show was close to perfect. the crowd was really into it AND polite and not out of hand, probably the santa cruz vibe. the beasties were totally on point and those people at the next few shows are in for a treat. MMM was nice as always and dropped some nice beats as always

Yeah, I wasn't at this show but I gotta say, the crowd at every show I've seen in Santa Cruz has been great

No one has any pics of this to share?

No, the special guests were 2 hours of Karakoe (sp?). with
people from the crowds singing. All the rumours by tons of people of foo fighter sightings were all for naught.

just the three off them for the instrumentals.
