I heard that 50% of all American women will be menopausal in 2015. And right now, many doctors are giving them antidepressants instead of nutritional advice. This is a wonderful career opportunity.

I was one of 2 non menopausal women at the class. The class (and especially my fellow classmates) scared the hell of out me. I've decided that I'm never going through menopause. I also decided that maybe my mom wasn't so stupid to medicate with alcohol.

I bought a box of gourmet chocolate on the way home to comfort myself.

haha. :D

yeah, i have heard some horror stories from menopausal ladies. even my mom :( which means most likely i will have to deal with the same thing. all of them are desperate - DEAR GOD GIVE ME SOMETHING TO HELP THESE HOT FLASHES I WILL PAY YOU IN GOLD - it would definitely be a potential gold mine. heh.

It has perks, you get to scream out "MY MENOPAUSE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT I'M UPSET" about four times an hour.

This post might not have been a good idea. I was quite fond of my testicles :(

Apparently Green tea is helpful. Two women at my work are going through it and are drinking it like there's no tomorrow. I haven't asked them if it helps though... But I guess if they're drinking so much it must be doing something

Incidently does anyone know if there's any dietry suppliment that can stop scar tissue build up under the skin? I had an operation on my back over a year ago and im having problems with it now and my dr said its because scar tissue is forming there (under the skin where the operation was - not the incision mark - which is fine).

and on reflection, that's probably a good thing.

a good vitamin e supplement (i prefer liquid softgels, but only about 400-1000 I.U. daily. don't want to go far over that) might help. and rub in derma-e's scar gel (i've posted a link on it before) twice a day. or a good oil - i prefer jojoba or almond. :)

sure thing! vitamin e oil is also available in liquid form, but it's sludgy as hell and hard to use. you can get a good cream of vitamin e that'll work too.

I have been using a vitamin e cream because my dr suggested it too but it was hell cheap from big w and doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot unfortuantly. i'll try and get that cream you suggested and definately the supplement.
i'll let you know how it goes.
thanks again.

my mom has been so extremely happy with this natural progesterone cream made from a yam extract that she can only get from one pharmacy in town that compounds their own stuff

she flat-out refused to go on any other type of hormone replacement therapy and this has worked wonders for her
