Why after every show lately, is there some drama, be it a (fist)fight or general bad vibes? Amongst messageboarders?

cuz miranamee wants all to think she's the be-all end-all of the beastie world.....that the beasties are begging for her to be at all their shows and the venues can't wait to give her special priviledges....and if you're not on her (bra) strap....she gets disappointed in you.......

you can take your DIE HARD fan shit.......and stick it up your .......cuz it is about you and not about the beastie boys.....f' that noise!

Seriously, two shows and there's drama involving messageboarders. I bet pshabi feels differently about keeping to himself now.

Strange... I found my meeting-with-the-message-boarders experience quite delightful.

Why are personal encounters turning into online grudges?

the problem is all the sexual tension between the opposite sexes. all the dudes want to bang the hot ladies of bbmb and i think that causes the wrong kind of friction, like dry humping a mossy rock. also, i think we should all have group knitting sessions to build commeraderie

it is, but i should say that for the large part, all of my experiences have been excellent, even the not so good ones turned out alright. people are people and people are human and humans are imperfect, whaddayagonnado. i think they'll all work out in the end

Internet drama is funny. I'm sad I never got to actually meet steve on point, but I think in one of my videos you can hear him saying "happy hip hop honors Beastie Boys!!" ...I think that was him, I'm guessing

I havent seen any of this "drama" or heard about it...must be a case of complaining about the person they met in real life to someone on the net...seems really nerdy though.

Other than the fight over the setlist :( I don't know that there have been bad times had among board members at these concerts.

The drama (if you can call it that?) in the one thread (the one that I was posting in) came about because some of us didn't feel that the criticisms of the Beasties were warranted. (Rather, we maybe wanted to make it known that those criticisms weren't universally shared.)

The most recent drama, I think, spawned over semantics. I don't know that the choice of the word "begging" was the greatest, but I got the sense that pshabi didn't mean anything by it. I'd venture a guess that it was just a word that he used and he probably didn't even think twice about it when he was typing.

That said, this stuff or the potential for it is one of the reasons for why I reserved the right to keep to myself at Gimme Shelter. Not that meet-ups are inherently or fundamentally bad, but I think I've learned that sometimes in situations when you have unknown factors, it's better to lay low and go on instinct.

fuck yeah! Serious like i said, meeting you was a highlight of my trip, right away I felt like we'd known each other for much longer than we had.

The drama is unfortunate but people are people and feelings get hurt, even unintentionally...too bad.

God this shit is exciting though, all these shows. Something to actually talk about on here!
