Yeah, everyone except me is that after party. I've got to work in the AM.

Okay,

#1) All Beef Squashed, all misunderstandings cleared up.

#2) Although it wasn't a pageant type set, this was the best show I have seen them play out of 6. Mir, Cindy, Paul, and I all agreed. Action packed from front to back. Unbeliveable energy from the crowd and the bboys.

#3) I got drunk as hell, and karaoke night was fun as fuck. Embarassed? Hell no! Represented hell yes!

I'll try to elaborate more tomorrow, but I'm gonna post my video on stage and the bboys pics/vid right now.

Let's just say this:

I fuckin' opened for the beastie boys. Some hot lil' thing working for the Joint was asking me to sing and I told her I would for a free shot. She hooked it up and I followed through.

The karaoke list was wack and a guy said that the ONLY stipulation was no bboy songs.

So, I did Gwen Stefani's "Holla Back" girl.

I went 2nd after some whack ass wanna be. I got the crowd going and everyone was hollering out "Karaoke Phil!" before and after the show. After I parted with the rest of the group, the parking lot was off the hook! People were dring by hollering, "Phil!"

When I got on stage, there was one act before me. So, natually, I looked around and saw pretty much no security up there with me. I didn't get it on my camera, but PaulB did. I said fuck it and went up behind MMM's DJ stand upon Miramanee's suggestion! I put my hand on the actual record and Paul took a pic. Can't wait to post that shit.

After that, I reppped the message board with a shout out and before the song I said, "Let me clear my throat!"

It was sick.

The show was ill. Illest ever.

I'm still drunk, and pissing off my wife with the loud typing. Getting read to post some pics and vid now. Be patient!

Oh wells, best BBOY show I have seen yet, a full full set, nearyl two full hours long.

Had a blast despite not meeting fellow boarders, had to choke out some clown that felt like runnin wild punchin people (IE: my throat). Then dude stepped up again and got tossed, shit. Finally after picking 10 too many fights they got his ass outta there.

Also I sent out a buncha text messages to the board on the verizon billboard thing.

Holy Cow! I still haven't processed what I saw last night. I know that sounds dramatic but it's true. Before they came out, I was speculating about what they would wear, and then they came out in the most gorgeous tailored suits! If you saw the photos from Italy, it was kind of like that, but the suits looked much better in person. The Beasties looked so sharp! And then to have them doing Paul Revere dressed like that and sitting on the stools channeling Dean and Frank, but still doing the regular dance moves too (and the weave) in the suits . . . it was funny and yet so right.

And Pshabi was not exaggerating about how great he was at the karaoke.

I talked to him after the show and said "did you give me the finger during the show?" and he was like "oh man, you just gotta take that as a joke" im like "thats cool". and then he asked me if i was from nyc....lol, oh, but 1st when i met him i said "hey mark, wanna sign your jacket", it was cool... and then as they were rolling away Yauch rolls down the window and says right to me "Mark meant it as a term of endearment" and then i said "what, this?" and i flipped Mark the middle finger, and Yauch laughed his ass off, and then Mark popped his head out of the car and waved at me. Was at the show last night with my wife and best friend with his GF, about 5 people to the right from pshabi apparently, right on the rail. (I was the one in the Jam Master Jay concert Tee) Aside from the little 5'2" welp behind me using me as a springboard, best show i've ever seen, and i've been to 3 so far. Was wife's first time seeing them upclose, and was well worth the wait. Drove back to phoenix this morning with my ears still ringing. One hell of an anniversary gift to each other!

Bad photo, but its the Stairway to Heaven (i heard Yauch talkin down the hallway, from when i got up those stairs...and I got grabbed right then and there, as I got back down, security was running at me with their walkie talkies going off sayin "there he is!", i have no clue as how they found out about me, as i passed tons of people often saying to me Hi, Sup... and i got kicked out, back to the street, being grabbed by the arm from 4 security guards and 5min later...met Yauch, Mark and i said to Alfredo from inside his car "Yo Alfredo!", and he looked at me and pointed like "sup".

This show was good.... my top 5. Setlist is classic and the venue nice and small. The meathead so called fans in Vegas are the worst in the country.

Seriously one of the best shows I think I'll ever ever ever experience. I'm so fucking tired I can't even begin to tell you... it's still all sinking in.

Pshabi was the dopest on the mic... them were my photo/video skills on his camera capturing it for you all. :cool: Then he gets off stage and I proceed to listen to him and Paul do the entire Beastie Boys catalogue. It was better than any more karaoke so yeah.

The shout to the message board was beyond cool. Just super mega awwwww. Posse and Do It in the setlist was mucho appreciated. The suits, I mean THE SUITS... people, these suits on them were uh... like so appropriate. Mike seemed to be bustin some new dance moves, but they were smooth, the suit/jewfro combo was really workin for him. Mike was on top of his game. The suit power given to Horovitz just amped the confidence factor which me thinks he needs no assistance in. The man was on fire. Yauch couldn't look more comfortable in a suit. Seriously he's all business, and boy was he workin it! The effort and thought that went into this show on the band's part was crazy appreciated. When MMM first came out I was the first among us to go... "wait a min. Mike's wearing a tie?!"

But it was all about the afterparty. Dee Snider showed up?! He let us tease his hair and we did our own lil rendition of "We're not gonna take it". It was dope.

I'll get back to this once I've let my brain catch up on some sleep though. mhm... 10hrs of sleep in 3 days ain't cuttin it.
