Not only is it a crappy rendition of the song (and lip-synched poorly), but it's white-boy-had-to-teach-black-man-to-rock crap.

That part/that use of the song was wretched. Almost ruins the whole movie.

How about the the Crystal's "And then he Kissed Me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LW-t_ZqT-k)" during the infamous one shot camera scene in "Goodfellas". It's fantastic and reminds me alot of how my dates go.

but i like

cruel intentions when everything falls apart for sarah michelle gellar at the end they play bittersweet symphony by the verve

trainspotting when he takes a big shot and sinks into the carpet and goes to the hospital, and perfect day is playing

casino, the end of the movie when all the shit goes down, and they play house of the rising sun

crow - when brandon lee turns gothic, they play burn by the cure

star wars - the cantina band scene with han solo and chewy


i have to name somthing from kill bill vol 1 - when uma is dealing with the crazy 88 - but i dont know the song, or which part i like the most

Was it "Then He Kissed Me"? The nightclub steadicam shot? You're probably right, but I was thinking it was something else. My memory's going.

I know he uses "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" or something else off the Christmas album when what'shisname brings in his wife wearing a fur and the pink Caddy is parked in the alley. And he uses "Be My Baby" during the opening credits of Mean Streets....
