Well,
As you know, Body Movin' Fatboy Slim remix (for me, it's not as good as the original) has appeared in the BM Video, BM Single, Sounds Of Science Anthology and Solid Gold Hits too. The question is, why did they've chosen the Fatboy Slim version as the one that would promote the album and then, the one that would be connected to Bboys (I'm talkin' bout the compilation albums) ? .... well, is it just because they didn't like the Hello Nasty version?

...Naah, that would be too stupid. The HN version is focking amazing.

^^oh no, i guess i missed it.

but my answer wasgonna be that they just liked the remix better, it could happen.

yeah exactly, they perform the original live so obviously it's held in high regard. and on the chris rock show back in 98, they went with the O.G. It makes sense to have put the fatboy slim remix on the compilations, as that was the version released as a single.

adrock notes in the anthology booklet that 'he took it to another level', so I thnik they rate both versions. But I prefer original, better beats. I don't mind the remix, and I've nothing against the more poppy beats used...but Body Movin' is at it's best on Hello Nasty.

I used to like the remix better but over time I have come to like the LP version more.

It's just more original, how many groups have sampled exercise tapes for a hip-hop song anyway?

Yeah, I definitely agree that the LP version is better. Those steel drums are incredible.
