My laptop took a huge shit on me. I'd try to open it up and I'll only get a blank screen. I really have no clue as to what happened so, I took it to get repaired and they had to reinstall windows x.p.

I didn't have a backup disk created so, all of my pics were deleted. I also had Adobe photoshop 7.0 and that's gone as well. I'm fucking upset. The photoshop was pirated and I bought it in the Green Zone for 3 dinar which is only about 50 cents. Now I might just have to buy an original copy of photoshop for what, 600 bucks?

never, i repeat, NEVER buy software that expensive. they are asking for piracy.

50 cents is too expensive for that? It's not what messed my laptop up because I've had that same version of photoshop for 2 years.

almost 75% of photoshop users wouldnt exist if it wasnt for pirated software. that price is ridiculous. they say it's cause it's the cost of production, but if they charged 50 bucks for it instead, most people would do the right thing and buy it.

the only people that use non pirated versions are schools, offices and graphic design studios. technically, it's illegal for graphic designers to use pirated versions.

i have engineering programs on my pc that would cost me 2 grand if it weren't for the net!

yeah I'm at that site and I have my mouse hovering over the "download now" option. Arrghhh.

Adobe CS2 probably can't even do half of the things 7.0 can though right? It's only for photo editing or can it do more?

I did try downloading that cs2 but it took forever and it wasn't showing any progress. Just that paper flying into the folder over and over and over and I waited for 10 minutes so I just cancelled it.

shit bro you gotta be more patient with this stuff. I dont know how big photoshop is but given the time it takes to load on startup Im guessing a few hundred megs.

Make sure like 5 or more people are seeding it, and just leave it. It will finish itself, I swear.

also, in case nobody's told you, you need a client program to download torrents. i use azureus, google "azureus" and download that. then i seem to remember it being pretty easy to set up. it holds your hand through it, i think.

That's pretty much the advice I was needing because I'm Corky on the computer.

All I know is when I tried to download the photoshop from the site, it was, as said, just showing that damn paper flying into the folder for 10 minutes. Every other time I've downloaded something, it showed that little percentage completed report and this time it didn't so, I figured something wasn't working.
