I got an Xbox 360 and a broadband connection...

I dont have live though,I hated that shit after a while with "old" Xbox.

its $20 for three months, I figured Id give it a shot.

never had it on the old xbox cuz I modz0r3d mine so maybe I will get bored of live too.

I dunno I guess online gaming isnt really my thing anyway I prefer decent story driven single player games - best not take my advice - you'll probably love it.

I got bored with the cheating and 12 year old kids swearing and questioning my Mums sexual habits in the end on the old service.

If you make decent contacts on a good 360 message board though you can bypass that and play with decent people but you end up playing the same games over and over.

I'm still to poor to afford a 360 and I'm trying to save up for a Wii to buy on launch day anyway.

I'm getting one in the future soon though and since I'm finally getting high speed internet in my area I'll be on Live around January so my advice is to beware :D

The games I'd recommend are Project Gotham Racing 3 and Oblivion.

Dead Rising is pretty cool too.

Yeah, I'm going to be real happy when we get it where I live so I can search the internet faster and finally play videogames online (y)

Of course if people curse half as bad as people say they do on Live I'm probably going to get sick of it pretty quick.

I have the free trial that came with my XBOX, but I've never tried it yet... mainly because I'm too cheap to buy the wireless card so I can hook that sucker up to my wireless network.

Isn't the ethernet built into the back though? I think I could steal my really long ethernet cable back from my roommate and just plug that sucker directly into the router. Then you're on for some Burnout: Revenge madness, sucker.
