if i have to be at work i make myself be there no matter what state i'm in. it's only fair. i didn't ask for a day off.
was the red road premiere. i will post more on it later when i stop shaking so much i can't type. i just spewed again. i've only had 90 minutes sleep. my boss gave me some rehydration sachet thingies "a pisshead like me has things like that in his office!" which i spewed up but i'm trying.

How about a nice, Greasy, Pork Sandwich, served in a Dirty Ashtray.
This brought back some really bad memories.
I used to work as a bouncer/cashier for a pub. Many nights we closed and the staff went to after hours clubs. I would stagger in my house at 5am and need to be at work at 7am.
The summer was the worst. I would be out shooting a story (I was a videographer for a NBC affiliate) and sweat beer and liquor. One morning I fell asleep on the couch and my phone rang. I needed to be at work for a press conference for the Governor. I rushed into work and grabbed my gear. I was so dizzy and I looked like a zombie. I was putting the mic on the podium and L Douglas Wilder the Gov of Virginia at the time just looked at me and laughed. He said--tough night Steve? Coffee, asprin and lots of water or soda might help.
I remember getting a work review that mentioned my late nights were a concern although Steve's work does not suffer.
Thankfully, I got the weekday late night drinking out of my system. I had alot of fun but the mornings were nothing short of Hell on earth.
na§tee I feel your pain.

I hate the hangovers when the shit you drank the night before almost smells the same as your sweat. This has happened to me before. There really is not cure for this level of hangover except Aspirin and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I've never gotten a truly terrible hangover, just headaches and sensitivity to light and sound but nothing too bad. I don't sweat and smell like alcohol (at least I don't think I do), but for the life of me no matter how much I brush my teeth and gargle, my breath still smells like booze. Slightly, not a lot, but enough to be like "Hmm. What was SHE doing last night?"
I wonder if there's something that can take care of that.

the worst hangovers are when you wake up and you can't stop shaking and you lie on the floor instead of the bed because the softness of the sheets hurts.
