I've never seen him perform solo. A friend of mine saw him at a club near LSU back in the late 90s and said it was a decent performance.

I saw him and said hi to him at the HHHonors show but didn't ask any questions.

I saw a post a while back in BG, and someone said Hurra was on the Horseplay DVD talking about how only Adrock calls to check on him...something to that effect. If that is true I'm sure there is a reason for that...

Yep...Hurra was at the HHHonors back at the beginning of October. In fact his laminate said Guest Of Band...Beastie Boys.

And you're also correct about the Horseplay video. It did appear there were some hard feelings between Hurra and the guys. I haven't watched it in a while but it could be how they edited it together to make it appear more negative than it really is.

People tend to make something out of nothing, so as you said...they might have edited it together to appear that there was a "beef".

The Beasties don't strike me as the kind of people that just cut off contact with someone...like I said, has to be a reason.

Now having seen the Horseplay DVD...I hate to say it but he comes off as a whiner. And he was a bit disrespectful. But I can't really speak fairly on it...who knows, maybe the Beasties did something to him he didn't like...
