I just bought a stupid camera from target. it was $109. it's a camcorder and an mp3 player too. it's okay so far, but the pictures take a long time to take, resulting in fuzziness. but they look kind of cool I guess. I also like how I can just plug in the usb and bam! there the pictures are! with cort's camera (which has been stolen), you'd have to sit and let a bunch of crap load and then download everything and it took a long time and it was annoying.

it's made by aiptek. IS-DV2. never heard of it. I did find a good review on an australian website though.

here go me at my desk (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v350/sarkyd/PICT0015.jpg)

I should've put boobs in the title of this.

ALSO I FORGOT MY POINT WAS THAT DOES ANYBODY HAVE CHEAP CAMERAS THAT THEY LIKE AND STUFF?

actually, the more I play with this, the more I like it. it has all kinds of stupid features like frames that say, "chai latte" and crap like that. I like it now.

somebunny go get me an SD card though, thanks. this has like 16 mb of memory which is like 3 pictures.

Since you put it that way...........I did have an old Fisher Price toy camera. You plopped a VHS in the VTR and cranked it by hand. It put out a grainy picture and I liked the results.

I also got a free point and shoot digital camera that I used for a time. I actually worked just fine but I upgraded and now it sits in a closet.

I read an article about a fashion photographer that uses a very basic point and shoot camera. He gets very creative shots and because he has no zoom or detachable lens gets very close to his subjects. He was a photographer for some of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoots.

....and thanks for mentioning boobs.

yeah, this actually has a 6 megapixel setting on it, which is the highest I saw for the price range. that's pretty much why I got it. the thing is so cheesy and weird though, which is fine with me. but the more I look at the pictures, the more I'm inclined to like how oddly they're turning out. I'm not trying to be a photographer or anything.

also, it has an MP3 player...which is hilarious. Ima dangle the thing around my neck like an iPod.

here it be (http://www.aiptek.com/eimages/prod_ISDV2_lg.jpg)

Very nice....I have a thing for really cheap cameras. Here is a similar version to the video camera I had before it bit the dust. I wish they still made similar versions. It was great for camping trips. Mine had more of a toy like body.

I wanted one of those so bad when they first came out, but it was too expensive. I used to stare at it and fondle the plexi-glass display case at Toys-r-us. that along with nintendo games. we was po' folk.
