Every time someone puts a link up in my MSN or AIM window, and I click it, it opens up in AOL (I regret ever getting the damn thing). Is there a setting in either messager's preferences that switches it to Internet Explorer?

Indeed (n)
Sounds like your default browser is set to AOL, you want it set to IE. The only way I can see to do this is to go into controll panel, then internet options, then click programs and tick the box at the bottom of the window that says something like "check if internet explorer is the default browser", and then run IE. Watch though, as next time you run AOL it might want you to set it as the default browser, dont do this. There may also be away to turn it off in AOL options.
Not sure if this is the problem though.
The geek inside me also wants to tell you not to use AOL or IE (y).

I think I did it, thanks all. I got rid of AOL a while ago...they gave me this "well you can keep it on your computer for free now" line...and I made the mistake of doing so. I think I'll uninstall it.
